The main book collection is located upstairs on the north and south ends of the library.
Material Locations
- A through NX are upstairs, southside of the library.
- P through Z are upstairs, northside of the library.
- Reference is downstairs, northside of the library.
- Media/AV is downstairs, southeast corner of the library.
- Allied Health/Fire Science Collection is upstairs, southwest corner of the library.
- Archives/Faculty Development Room is upstairs, northwest corner of the library.
- Periodicals/Magazines/Newspapers located downstairs, center rear of the library.
Organization
The books and AV items at Weatherford College are arranged on the shelves according to the Library of Congress Classification System, which separates all knowledge into 20 classes. Each class is identified by a letter of the alphabet, subclasses by combinations of letters, and subtopics within those by a number.
